And Now for Some Shameless Promotion...
Now that I have you all here, I’d like to let you all know that the magazine I write/edit for, American Pigeon, has officially launched paid subscriptions.
This means that, for as low as $4.99/month, you can gain access to all future magazine issues, as well as Burke: the Editors’ column, among other perks on the American Pigeon website. All magazines, eventually, have to switch to some sort of paywalled model, and for us, that time has come.
In addition, using the code PIGEONCOOP gets you a 30% off deal on the AP Patron yearly subscription (originally $49.99).
American Pigeon has come a long way since its inception, and we’re super excited to provide quality independent journalism from a conservative perspective as we embark on this new quest for financial solvency.
The cool thing about American Pigeon is that we are largely reader-supported. We do not answer to a shadowy board of investors or some obscure parent corporation. We aren’t mouthpieces for anyone.
We intend on providing 3 magazine issues per year (every four months). The magazine issues that were published prior to this change have been grandfathered in, and are still free for all to read. All future issues, however, will be Patron-access only.
So if you’re into intellectually challenging op-eds about political philosophy, as well as some great reporting about some of the most important issues of our time, all the while incorporating some unique perspectives you won’t get from the mainstream media, I invite you to come join us in this new phase of our journey. Your patronage would be greatly appreciated.
Here’s to the New Year, with all the great things that are sure to come. And of course, here’s to changing the discourse.
Earnestly yours,
Luke Lattanzi, Opinion Editor at American Pigeon
